Talya Oregano is a 100% pure and natural essential oil. Oregano is a cousin of marjoram, but its virtues differ. It mainly grows in the Mediterranean region. Oregano essential oil is known for many of its properties: antibacterial, fungicidal, antiparasitic, antiviral, immunostimulating, tonic, and generally stimulating. It is said to be the most antiseptic of all essential oils.
It is used to relieve the airways, facilitate digestion, combat skin problems, and fight many gastrointestinal and urinary infections. Oregano essential oil is presented in many studies as a natural antibiotic: a broad-spectrum antibiotic (works on many pathogens), but unlike conventional antibiotics, it stays where "good" bacteria are needed and respects the skin and intestinal flora.
This essential oil should be used with caution.
Recommended Use:
Orally: 2 x per day 1-2 drops. Can be mixed with a spoonful of honey or in a herbal infusion.
Skin: Massage, bath: 5-10 drops per 10 ml of carrier oil. Be sure to dilute oregano essential oil in carrier oil as it may irritate. Test before use.
Diffusion: 5-10 drops, depending on personal preference and room size.
Important: Shorten the duration of use of oregano essential oil. It is a natural antibiotic. It is recommended to take a break after 7-10 days. Always dilute with another oil (such as coconut or olive oil) for massage. Test a drop on the skin before first use.
