Red Tabasco sauce is the original red pepper sauce, developed in Louisiana for 150 years. It is based on three simple ingredients: fully ripened red peppers, Avery Island salt and quality distilled vinegar.

According to tradition, all Paprika Shots were picked by hand. The pepper seeds were dried so that they could spoil in later years. The pepper puree matures for up to three years in oak barrels, where it develops its special aroma.
